Who Are The Endorsing Bodies For The Innovator Visa?

The new Innovator Visa route offers a great option for those who are looking to move to the UK to start a business. Replacing the now-defunct Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa, the Innovator Visa has taken into account some of the main problem areas of the Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa, such as the level of seed funding that had been required, alongside redesigning the visa route to ensure it produced better outcomes all-round. One of the main revisions was the addition of endorsement for the business idea. Previously, entrepreneurs had to produce a business plan assessed by a UK Visas and Immigration official so they could decide the validity of the idea as part of the application process.

Clearly, this was always going to cause problems.

So if you are looking to gain an Innovator Visa, you are going to need an endorsement, but who do you turn to? Hopefully, this article should clear up the confusion by providing a current list of bodies who you can turn to for endorsement. Please note, you should talk to the bodies who are clearly aligned with your business type; i.e. do not apply to a tech endorsement body if your idea is not in that particular sector.

"Anna Foley was the lawyer helping my partner obtain an EEA EFM visa. She was outstanding. Handling the case with constant correspondence over a lengthy, lockdown delayed 7-month application process. Her expert advice guided us successfully through some difficult times as a result of COVID-19. Some of the best service I have received for any service ever! Often replying to emails late at night, offering to send additional correspondence to the home office and going above and beyond in handling our case! Well done and thank you Reiss Edwards and thank you Anna!!".
